Internship (September 2006)
If you're a Junior or Senior at a High School in the 8Towns region, you may qualify for a short-term internship program. The ideal candidate will be interested in marketing, technology, or entrepreneurship. You will be involved in all aspects of the 8Towns Marketing operation and gain an exceptional base of experience in Internet marketing.

Marketing Coordinator (September 2006)
Seeking an experienced individual to manage all aspects of an online product in a start-up environment. This is a great opportunity for an experienced individual seeking flexible part-time working hours. You will have close contact with the business owners and should have a strong sense of ownership and close attention to detail. Candidate should have their own computer and Internet connection, be comfortable working from a home office environment, and should have great project management skills. Compensation negotiable.

Business Development Manager (September 2006)
We are looking for an individual who can make an immediate contribution to our project by securing registration from hundreds of local businesses, either through phone or face-to-face contact. Knowledge of the local small business market is especially helpful to ensure that registrants are assigned to the most appropriate categories. This position will also work closely with executive management to refine and implement the launch strategy for this service to the residents of the 8Town market area.

Account Executive (September 2006)
Initially seeking a part-time individual to help with advertising and sponsorship sales. Experience in media sales helpful, but in-depth familiarity with the Internet is a must. Candidate will work from a home-based office and is expected to have their own computer, phone, and Internet connection. Compensation is flexible in structure for the right candidate.

Web Design & Development (September 2006)
We've created this site, but have a long list of new features we want to roll out in a short period of time. If you're an experienced php and MySQL back end developer or have created some dazzling, but fast-loading front-ends for other sites, this may be a perfect project for you. Contract workers only, but can lead to a full-time position based on success of the project.
